The Den Chiropractic was founded by husband-and-wife chiropractors, Dr. Emily and Dr. Kent Rempel, with a shared vision to bring neurologically focused family care to the Okanagan. Our doctors and Care Advocates are united by one mission, to help children and families regulate, adapt and thrive naturally. We focus on the nervous system as the foundation of health, so growing bodies and developing minds can function at their best.

The Discovery Visit
Your journey begins with connection and curiosity. Our doctors take the time to understand your health story, from pregnancy and birth history to lifestyle, stress and developmental milestones.

Nervous System Mapping
Non-invasive scanning measures how your nervous system is functioning beneath the surface, alongside a structural and functional exam of the spine, muscles and posture.

Results and care planning
We sit down together to go through the scan results and exam findings, then outline a care plan with the frequency and duration your nervous system needs.

Who we care for
Prenatal and postpartum care
Mama bears. From the earliest weeks through labour, delivery and the postpartum period, we support the nervous system as your body adapts to postural and pelvic shifts, hormonal change and the demands of new motherhood. Pregnancy is not a condition, it is a process.
Pediatric and infant care
Little cubs. 65% of neurological development happens in a child's first year, so we work with families from the very beginning, supporting the nervous system through the stages of growth and change from birth through childhood.
Family chiropractic care
Papa bears, too. Modern life places constant demands on our bodies and minds. Neurologically focused care helps the whole family restore balance and adaptability, supporting greater energy and more ease in your body.
How we work
Nervous-system focused chiropractic
Care begins with the nervous system rather than the symptom. Specific neuro-spinal adjustments reduce stress-related interference, so every system in the body has the function it depends on. It is not about popping or cracking to relieve back pain.
Nervous system scanning
Advanced, non-invasive scanning measures how your nervous system is functioning beneath the surface, how your body is managing stress and holding tension, and where it sits between fight or flight and rest and digest.
Gentle, specific technique
Our chiropractors use a tonal analysis through the MC2 technique to find where the interference sits, and adjust with Full Spine, Thompson, Activator, extremity work, Active Release and Torque Release. Safe and specific for every age, from newborns to grandparents.

What began as a small practice has grown into a team of doctors and Care Advocates who are redefining what natural healthcare looks like in Kelowna. Kirby Velo, Victoria Wolgemuth and Chloe Funk look after families at the front desk and in the adjusting room; the four chiropractors below carry the care.
Dr. Kent Rempel
Chiropractor + OwnerFrom Saskatoon, and into chiropractic after an injury ended his football career at the University of Saskatchewan. Doctor of Chiropractic from Life University, Magna Cum Laude, with advanced training in Sports Chiropractic. Full Spine, Thompson, Activator, extremity adjusting and Active Release.
Dr. Emily Rempel
Chiropractor + OwnerHonours in Biochemistry from Otterbein University, then a Doctorate in Chiropractic at Life University, Magna Cum Laude. Webster certified and working toward her CACCP through the International Pediatric Chiropractic Association. She focuses on low-impact adjusting styles, and on preconception, prenatal and pediatric care.
Nolan Parsons
ChiropractorFrom Edmonton and competitive hockey, then a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and a Doctor of Chiropractic from Life University. He interned here at The Den, where he fell in love with neurologically focused pediatric care, and now sees families of every age.
Dr. Jeff Pereverzoff
ChiropractorMore than two decades of modern, neurologically based care, and a Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer West. He is known in Kelowna for the Torque Release Technique, a gentle, research-based approach to restoring nervous system balance.
